No one designs and creates customer experiences like Dolores, an award-winning brand strategist and experience designer whose work has been lauded by celebrities, heads of state, and royalty alike. Even the White House has recognized her with its prestigious Award for Appreciation for service to the President, his Cabinet, and the First Family.

As a third generation hospitality industry artisan, the commitment to serve is in Dolores’ blood. “When I was a child,” she says, “and people would visit, my parents would literally give them the food off their plates to make them feel welcome and at home. I carry that memory--and the lessons it taught me--even today.”

Those lessons propelled Dolores into an impressive career in restaurant and luxury resort management, branding, operations, and training spanning over two decades. During that time, she’s spearheaded 32 openings and branding/re-branding launches, working tirelessly as a change agent and experience design specialist that not only builds the culture and infrastructure that wins consumers over, but also shows management how to maintain them.

Is it any wonder that the Arizona Business Journal hailed Dolores as one of the “up and coming leaders” in the Phoenix-area business community? Or that her contribution to the Gray Development Group’s $1 billion Grigio mixed-use development investment helped the project win the 2008 National PARAGON Grand Prize?

Today, Dolores continues to push the envelope of excellence as: Chief Visionary Officer of ZAG Group - an experience design firm, President of Uncommon Sense Enterprises - a coaching and communications agency, and Owner of Soleteude - a hospitality service company.

In addition to her continuing work as a consultant, author, speaker, and entrepreneur, Dolores also serves on committees for both the Arizona Hotel & Lodging Association and Valley Hotel & Resort Association. And she carries the lessons she learned as a child forward...with her own three children.
